Health, safety & the environment.
Our obligations under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, and how we discharge them.
Stewardship, not slogan.
We are CHAS-accredited and routinely act as Principal Contractor under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. Health, safety and environmental management are integral to how we plan, programme and deliver every commission undertaken.
The standards set out below are not aspirational; they are the operating minimum.
CDM 2015
Pre-construction information, construction phase plans, health and safety files—prepared and maintained for every project.
Site supervision
Each active site has a site manager with appropriate SMSTS qualification and a direct line to a director.
Trade competence
CSCS card requirements enforced. Specialist trades (lifting, scaffold, asbestos, hot works) hold relevant accreditation.
Welfare
Compliant welfare on every site, irrespective of duration. We do not take shortcuts here.
Environmental
Waste segregated and recorded. Considerate Constructors Scheme registered. Neighbour-management plans on every site.
Insurance
Public Liability £10m. Employer’s Liability £10m. Professional Indemnity £5m. Contract All-Risks as required.
